Support the widows and their families
Rainforest Foundation US (RFUS) has been the principal NGO providing support to the widows and their families, and has been working to keep attention on the case and to raise the necessary financial support to ensure they remain safe throughout the trial and subsequent appeals process, currently underway.
There are serious security risks for the widows and the core team supporting them through this process.
After nearly ten years, we are almost at the finish line. But keeping witnesses and the widows of the four murdered activists safe, as well as covering related trial costs (legal fees and transportation to the courthouse, for example), is costly.
